Board

marketing director: Troy Bingham B.Sc (Acc.) MBA

Troy has extensive experience in the development of soccer and education based programmes. A former South African Youth International who earned a scholarship to play soccer and study in the states he has an in depth knowledge of developing a pathway for kids through soccer and education.

Troy has earned many honours as a player and coach including selection to the All America University Team, Leading Goal Scorer awards, Most Valuable Player and Coach of the Year awards at various levels. Having played professionally in South Africa, Canada and the United States and run successful Coaching Academies and Clubs in these countries he is well equipped to demonstrate to young players the importance of a balanced approach to their future.

operations manager : armando cacace B.It (information systems)

Armando is a passionate futsal player who still currently plays goalkeeper in local futsal tournaments. armando has experienced international futsal tours across the world and very few can match his passion and commitment to the development of futsal in Australia. Armando has organised many successful futsal competitions and tournaments here on the Gold Coast. Armando also ensures we continually strive for excellence.

Managing director : Andrew Parkes

Founder of the Gold Coast Futsal Association. Andrew has had inclusion in Soccer for the past 20 years as a player/coach/manager and board member. Andrew's focus is on providing all players with the most professional organised run league in Qld. Andrew's passion and enthusiasm to develop the sport is overwhelming as is his vision and focus to take the sport of Futsal to a new level of success yet to be seen in Qld.

TECHNICAL director : MARCELO MACIEL

Marcelo's knowledge of Futsal is second to none, he has been an advocate of developing futsal in Australia for over 20 years.. Marcelo holds many certificates and accreditations, some including FFA level 1 Futsal Certificate, ISA Level 1 and 2 Futsal Certificate and Level 5 Football Licence. In 2009 he was the Development Officer Football Queensland and Head Coach of Qld State Futsal Teams and Coach of Qld State Men’s team.

coaching director: Andre Rodrigues

Having played semi-professionally for Sao Paulo in Brazil, Andre addeds a vast wealth of talent and knowledge to the Gold Coast Futsal Association. Andre is well educated in Coaching and Physical development with a vast array Diplomas and Certificates from Football Federation Australia. Andre has coached at every level of Futsal. Andre has coached Qld rep teams and was Assistant Coach/Player – 4 International Matches in Spain just to name a few.

WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER: PATRICK MORONEY

As the Gold Coast Futsal Association WH&S Officer patrick ensures that venues and officials observe certain obligations to ensure that WH&S measures are effective and that practical steps are taken for that purpose. A particular onus is placed on the Gold Coast Coast Futsal Association's activities to determine necessary and appropriate WH&S standards and to make sure these standards are maintained.
